Permalink fuckyeahtattoos: Hey my names Monica ! My tattoo was done with Mark Hoffman at Dinosaur Tattoo Studio in Waukegan, IL. My tattoo is my favorite quote from the book The Shining by Stephen King. It is my favorite book of all time so I figured, why not ? As soon as I walked into the tattoo shop, the atmosphere was great. Mark is awesome, totally know how to joke around and takes his work really seriously. Him taking his work so seriously really made me comfortable and let go of all the nerves I had to get tattooed. This is my 2nd tattoo and I can’t wait to get more from him. Permalink fuckyeahtattoos: This is my first tattoo that I got last May at TRX Tattoos in St. Louis, MO by Laura. It was awesome because my best friend bought it for me as a graduation gift. The experience was great, and the artist was very nice and really wanted to get the best looking tattoo for me. The quote comes from my favorite musical, Spring Awakening. Every time I look down at it I think of those I’ve drifted apart from or lost in my life.
Permalink fuckyeahtattoos: My best friend Tina decided to get her second tattoo with her girlfriend one morning, and she knew exactly what her second piece of art was gonna be: The equality symbol with one of her favorite quotes, “Love has no gender.”  The piece holds a lot of meaning, for she believes that love should not be judged or criticized or shot down.  Love is love, and is completely blind to gender.  The LGBT community is fully aware of the meaning behind the equality symbol, and it is growing in all communities in the nation, and the world.  It’s a fight for complete equality, not just equality for LGBT communities.  She decided to put the piece near her heart (And she has one of the biggest hearts, just to add lol).  Her tattoo has a lot of meaning, and its epitomizes her core beliefs, that love is love, and we all have a right to it.  The piece was done at Living Dead Tattoo, in Las Vegas, NV.  They do a lot of awesome work, so you guys should check them out if you’re in the area :) tinamolina.tumblr.com - the original source.
Permalink fuckyeahtattoos: This quote is from “Invisible Monters” by Chuck Palanuik, and the stencil is one of Bansy’s (a street artist) most famous. I believe that no mater how horrific of a time you might be going through, one thing we can know for sure is that during those times is when we truly find ourselves. All of my discoveries about myself and life has come to me during the most chaotic of times. When I was seven my mom died unexpectedly, leaving my older sister, myself and my dad in ruins. We were absolutely beside ourselves and it took a lot to get us back on track. Now I am 22, my dad remarried and I have a beautiful little sister who is 12 and step mom who is more loving to me than I could have ever asked for. I know my mom handpicked her just for me. Although I miss my mom every single day I have learned that everything happens for a reason and with purpose. Although I might not always understand what life has in store, I have proof that eventually things work themselves out. I love you mom (RIP Rita Marie Collins). This was her 6th tattoo and it is incredibly detailed and clean. I could not be happier. Quote is from The Lord of the Rings written by JRR Tolkien.
